MOV to USDZ
iPhones record MOV files. Upload one of an object and get a textured 3D USDZ back.
Enter one side in cm; the other follows the photo's shape. Empty means 60 cm on the long side.
Walk slowly in a full circle around a matte object in even light. Video jobs go into a queue; if a scan fails, your credit comes back automatically.
How to do it
- Record a MOV in the Camera app, circling the object.
- Upload it and set the real height in cm.
- Wait for the queued job.
- Open the USDZ in AR Quick Look.
Straight from the Camera app
The default iPhone video format is MOV. You can upload it as recorded, with no export or conversion step.
How to film for the best model
- Hold the phone steady and orbit the object slowly.
- Keep the object fully in frame and sharp.
- Do 1080p or 4K at 30 fps, and avoid digital zoom.
- Film in diffuse light; turn off flashing lights.
What comes back
A USDZ for AR Quick Look and a GLB for Android and web, both scaled to the real object height you enter. If reconstruction fails, the credit is refunded automatically.
