Enter one side in cm; the other follows the photo's shape. Empty means 60 cm on the long side.

How to do it

  1. Drop your JPG into the converter above.
  2. Enter the width or height in centimeters, or keep the 60 cm default.
  3. Download the USDZ and GLB files, or open the AR viewer link.
  4. On iPhone, tap the USDZ or scan the QR code, then place the picture on a wall.

What happens to your JPG

A JPG is a flat picture, so the converter turns it into a flat 3D plane with your image as the texture. The plane is built at the real size you enter, in centimeters, and the aspect ratio of the photo is kept.

The result is a USDZ file that iOS, iPadOS and Apple Vision Pro open natively. No app install is needed on the iPhone: Safari hands the file to AR Quick Look.

What you get from one upload

  • A USDZ file for iPhone, iPad and Vision Pro (AR Quick Look).
  • A GLB file for Android Scene Viewer, websites and three.js.
  • A shareable AR viewer link and QR code. Scan it on a phone and tap View in AR to place the picture on a wall at true size.
  • Default size of 60 cm on the long side, or any width or height you type.

When a JPG to USDZ file is useful

Typical uses are previewing a print on a wall before buying, showing a painting to a client, or letting shoppers see a poster at scale. Because the size is real, a 90 cm canvas looks like a 90 cm canvas, not a thumbnail floating in space.

FAQ

Is JPG to USDZ conversion free?

Your first photo conversion is free. After that you can use a monthly plan, a one-time Starter bundle or the API.

Will the USDZ be the right size on my wall?

Yes. The model is created at the width or height you enter, so AR Quick Look shows it at true scale.

Does it work on Android?

The USDZ is for Apple devices. You also get a GLB, which opens in Android Scene Viewer and in web viewers.

Can I use a JPG from my phone camera?

Yes. Photos from a phone camera work fine. For the sharpest result, use the original file instead of a heavily compressed copy.
