AR Quick Look Converter
Create USDZ files that open in AR Quick Look on iPhone and iPad, from an image or a video.
Enter one side in cm; the other follows the photo's shape. Empty means 60 cm on the long side.
Walk slowly in a full circle around a matte object in even light. Video jobs go into a queue; if a scan fails, your credit comes back automatically.
How to do it
- Upload an image or a video.
- Enter the real size.
- Download the USDZ.
- Open it on iPhone, tap the AR option and place it.
What AR Quick Look is
AR Quick Look is the built-in iOS and iPadOS viewer that opens USDZ files in augmented reality. It is used in Safari, Messages, Mail, Files and Notes. No app is required.
Where your USDZ will open
- Safari: tap a USDZ link and the AR view starts.
- Messages and Mail: open an attached USDZ.
- Files: tap the file to preview it.
- Apple Vision Pro: view it as a spatial object.
Photo or video input
From an image you get a flat, real-size model in seconds. From a walk-around video you get a full 3D model through photogrammetry. Both are exported as USDZ, and a GLB is added for Android.
FAQ
Do I need Xcode or Reality Composer?
No. The USDZ is created on the server.
Does the model use real scale?
Yes, from the width, height or object height you enter.
Can Android open the USDZ?
Use the GLB for Android. The viewer link serves each phone the right file.
What does it cost?
The first photo conversion is free, then plans, bundles and API pricing apply.
