HEIC to USDZ
Upload a HEIC photo straight from your iPhone and get a USDZ at real size. No need to convert it to JPG first.
Enter one side in cm; the other follows the photo's shape. Empty means 60 cm on the long side.
Walk slowly in a full circle around a matte object in even light. Video jobs go into a queue; if a scan fails, your credit comes back automatically.
How to do it
- Choose a HEIC photo from your iPhone.
- Enter the real width or height in cm.
- Wait a few seconds for the USDZ and GLB.
- Open the USDZ in AR Quick Look.
HEIC is accepted directly
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. Many tools reject the format, which forces an extra conversion to JPG. This converter reads HEIC as is, so you can pick the photo from your camera roll and continue.
A simple iPhone workflow
- Take a photo of a painting, print or sketch, straight on and evenly lit.
- Open the converter in Safari and upload the HEIC.
- Enter the real size of the piece in centimeters.
- Tap the result to open it in AR Quick Look and hold it up to a wall.
Straight photos work best
The model is a flat plane showing your photo, so a photo taken at an angle will look angled on the wall. Stand square to the artwork, fill the frame and avoid glare. Crop the edges first if the frame or table is visible.
FAQ
Do I need to convert HEIC to JPG first?
No. HEIC is accepted directly.
Does HEIC work for Android output?
Yes. The GLB is created from the same photo, so you can share it with Android users.
Is it free?
The first photo conversion is free. Further conversions need a plan, bundle or API balance.
Will the model look like a 3D version of my room?
No. Photo conversion creates a flat picture at real size. To get a true 3D object, use the video to 3D mode.
