Convert a photo to a GLB at its true size for Android AR, website viewers and 3D scenes.

USDZ for iPhoneGLB for AndroidReal size

Enter one side in cm; the other follows the photo's shape. Empty means 60 cm on the long side.

How to do it

  1. Upload a straight-on photo.
  2. Enter its real width or height in cm.
  3. Download the GLB and USDZ.
  4. Scan the QR code on your phone to view it in AR.

A photo as a real-size object

Your photo becomes a flat 3D plane in a GLB file. Because you enter the real width or height, a framed picture, a rug or a banner shows at the size it will have in the room.

Photo tips

  • Shoot straight on and keep the subject square.
  • Crop out the background for a clean edge.
  • Use diffuse light to avoid reflections.
  • Measure the real object and enter that number.

Need a true 3D object?

A single photo cannot show the back or sides of an object. If you want a model you can walk around, record a slow video loop and use the video to 3D mode, which outputs GLB and USDZ as well.

FAQ

Does Android support the GLB in AR?

Yes. Android Scene Viewer opens GLB files, and the viewer link handles this for you.

Is the photo kept private?

Files are processed only to make the model, and output URLs are unguessable links.

Is the first photo free?

Yes.

Can I embed the GLB on my website?

Yes, for example with the <model-viewer> web component.
