Object Capture Online
Apple's Object Capture technology, available from your browser. No Mac, no Xcode, no scripts.
Enter one side in cm; the other follows the photo's shape. Empty means 60 cm on the long side.
Walk slowly in a full circle around a matte object in even light. Video jobs go into a queue; if a scan fails, your credit comes back automatically.
How to do it
- Film a slow loop around your object.
- Upload the video and set the object height.
- Wait while your job moves through the queue.
- Download the USDZ and GLB.
Object Capture without the setup
Apple Object Capture normally needs a Mac with the right hardware and a little code or a helper app. Here the reconstruction runs on a server using Apple Object Capture, and you only upload a video.
Input and output
- Input: MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV or AVI, from 5 seconds to 5 minutes, up to 1 GB.
- Output: textured USDZ and GLB scaled to your real height.
- A viewer link with a QR code for sharing.
For developers
The REST API supports video jobs: request a signed upload URL, upload the video, then poll the conversion for status. Auth uses an API key as a Bearer token, and each model costs $1.50 from your prepaid balance.
